3rd Time in Bali, Still No Plan

This blog is based on the youtube post - Talking to Strangers in Canggu "Street Interview"

Some people come to Bali with a full itinerary. Every hour planned, every place booked.

But then there are people like him.

He’s been to Bali three times already. And this time?

Still no plan.

He’s from Northern Australia a place where the heat is just as intense. So when he walks along a windy beach in Canggu, he doesn’t complain.

Instead, he smiles.

“It’s unreal… it’s beautiful.”

Not because it’s perfect. But because it feels easy.

There’s something interesting about the way he travels.

No strict schedule. No pressure to “see everything.”

Just simple things:

“Swim, relax, eat… just chill.”

That’s it.

And somehow, that’s enough.

In just three days, he hasn’t gone far.

Still around Canggu.Maybe heading to Tabanan soon to meet a friend.

But even with so little “movement,”his experience already feels full.

Because Bali, for him, is not about ticking places.

It’s about feeling the moment.

What’s even more surprising?

He’s never been to Uluwatu.

One of the most famous places in Bali. And yet, he doesn’t feel like he’s missing out.

“I just go with how I feel that day… no real structure.”

This is what many locals might not realize.

People don’t come to Bali only for destinations. They come for a feeling.

A slower rhythm. A space to breathe. A place where doing “nothing” actually feels like something.

For him, Bali feels familiar.

Almost like home.

“It’s pretty much the same… but yeah, still different.”

And maybe that’s the magic.

Not too foreign. Not too overwhelming.

Just enough to feel new.

So if you’ve ever wondered why people keep coming back to Bali…

It’s not always about the famous spots.

Sometimes, it’s just about this:

Walking to the beach. Finding lunch. Letting the day unfold.

And maybe that’s something we, as locals, sometimes forget.

Bali is not just a destination to promote.

It’s a place people experience in their own way.

Bali is not just for planners. Bali is also for people who just want to feel.

And that’s why…

Bali is for everyone. 🌴
